Public transportation isn’t lacking either, you can ride an NCTD Breeze bus to travel up North or Northeast of San Diego and it also has stops that connect to NCTD Coaster stations that can take you to North Country and San Diego.
If you’re new in town, you’ll probably ride the train just to get a chance to enjoy the view as it cruises by the coast lines. The Coaster also includes a stop in Solana Beach and can take you all the way to Sante Fe Depot, Sand Diego.
Solana Beach is also where you can board the AMTRAK Pacific Surfliner that takes you through San Luis Obispo, LA, Santa Barbara and San Diego.
Meanwhile, the Southern parts are also accessible through the San Diego Metropolitan Transit Systems’ Trolley lines and Bus system.
