A place for plants, gardens, and varieties of colorful flowers, shrubbery, and trees. Bring your camera as this is also a haven for photographers. Capture vintage trucks, tractors, barns and buildings, lily pond, water wheel, along the creek, in the wild bird sanctuary or under the live oaks. Photo op doesn't happen a lot just anywhere, but here, it's a thing!
Visit a different era on Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens. Inspired by the uniqueness of Fallbrook, owners Beverly and Earl McDougal was inspired to create a community gathering place that would capture the idealized romance of another era, providing couples with a storybook venue for ceremonies and receptions. Admission is Free. Presents a wide variety of rotating exhibitions featuring works by nationally, internationally, and regionally recognized artists in a museum style setting with all works for sale. You may still catch The Find Magnified Show - 2016 that is open daily from July 16 – August 28, 2016, Mon-Sat 10am-4pm and Sun 12-3pm

Appleton Preserve - 22.98 acres of riparian habitat along La Canada Rd.
Bonsall Preserve - 27.36 acres of largely inaccessible wetlands at NW corner of Mission & Hwy 76
Dinwiddie Preserve - 14.5 acres across from Palomares House on S. Stagecoach Ln.
Engel Family Preserve - 10.37 acres off Sumac Rd. Short trail to a bench and sweeping views to east.
Los Jilgueros Preserve - 43.5 acres on S. Mission Rd N of High School with over 2 miles of looping, gentle trails.
Karen Tucker Preserve at Heller's Bend - 48.55 acres at the south end of Heller's Bend Rd, just off S. Mission. A 1/2 mile steep paved trail through a riparian area and live oak forest up to sweeping views to the east. Dirt trail continues through the spectacular coastal sage habitat.
Monserate Mountain Preserve - 340 acres just east of I-15. 1.5-mile trail to top for views to ocean and mountains.
Palomares House and Park - 1.57 acres with a historic farmhouse, gardens, memorial tile walkway and wildlife sculptures.
Rock Mountain Preserve - 78 acres on Sandia Creek Rd. ~1.5mi N of Santa Margarita River. 1.5-mile looping trail to Bryant Creek and views.

Enjoy the facility of three separate structures of 24 enclosures each for Toucanets and Aracaris and two more structures of large flights for the larger toucans. Founded in 1990 by Jerry Jennings, is situated on forty lush acres of land in the back country of Fallbrook, California.
